Lead Bowling Coach
John is current Director for the wider Grange Club. As a level 4 ECB coach and former lead of the Yorkshire Cricket Academy, he brings his considerable coaching expertise to the group. One of the most decorated Scottish fast bowlers, John also represented Yorkshire and Northamptonshire CCC with distinction.
Dr Rajeev McCrea-Routray
Raj has been working in both general medicine and sports medicine for over a decade. His work ranges from youth development to high performance environment settings including professional cricket, football and disability sport. As a recently retired player, he now greatly enjoys coaching and development.
Lead Batting Coach
Preston is one of Scotland’s most successful batsmen. He has a decorated international career, captaining the National team and leading them at the 2015 Cricket World Cup in New Zealand. He was also awarded the ICC Associate Player of the Year in 2014. Preston currently captains Grange 1st XI and represents the Eastern Knights.
Athletic Development Lead
Tom is a current member of the Grange 1st XI and Eastern Knights squad. He works as a personal trainer and specialises in youth athletic development through his work with the Active Schools programme.
Dr Carrie McCrea-Routray
Sports Medicine Doctor
Carrie has extensive experience of working in high performance and development and currently works in a wide range of sports. She has specialist interests in psychological health, youth and female athlete development and anti-doping.
